Heading into my third year of FIS, I'm working towards World Juniors this year.

Caiyu races for Bretton Woods and calls Sugar Hill, New Hampshire home. Skiing runs in the family: his mom, Miki Fera DeMaggio, is a three-time Olympian, and his dad, Gus DeMaggio, is a coach who has spent his career developing racers.
Caiyu competes in all four disciplines — downhill, Super-G, giant slalom and slalom — and when he’s not on skis you’ll find him playing soccer, wakesurfing or on the tennis court. He also loves giving back, helping the younger athletes coming up behind him.
Next up: a trip to Europe with the U.S. Alpine Development Team, including a month of training and racing in Austria.
Trained by his parents: Miki Fera DeMaggio and Gus DeMaggio — a world-class coaching duo who have dedicated their lives to alpine racing. The best possible team, right at home.
